Posted at 12:30h, 20 NovemberThe technician was wonderful about the initial visit. I was told that the control board of my dishwasher was broken and needed to be replaced. After about a week and a half of waiting to hear about the project I was told that American Home Shield (insurer) had ordered the part and had it shipped to the Moonglow (contractor), it would be there the following Tuesday. I called on Tuesday and was told by American Home Shield that the part had been delivered to the Moonglow. American Home Shield said that they reached out the Moonglow and the woman in the office was going to check with her technician to see if they had received the part and call me back that day. I did not receive a call back. I called American Home Shield again the next day and spoke with several representatives, I was told they reached out to Moonglow again (who complained that they had received 10 calls about this service request already – than maybe follow up?). Moonglow did finally call me on Wednesday to inform me that the part had not been received by them and I needed to call American Home Shield and inform them, which I did. It is now Monday of the following week and I continue to get the run around. Every day I hear that Moonglow will check with their technician to see if the part has been received and they will call me back that day. I have been given this message at least 7 times, with them only actually calling me back 1 of the times. Because the contractor has already been sent to the part I seem to be in a constant state of limbo with no ability to get another contractor to fix this issue or to get this contractor to actually do their job.
