Allen's Naturally
WHAT’S NEW AT ALLEN’S NATURALLY?
There is a lot to talk about at Allen’s, so much has changed and yet stayed the same over the past year. If you are noticing changes to the site and product, please take a minute to read what we are up to and what’s to come. Our team has been hard at work developing a new website, new logo, new packaging, new products and more!!!
ALLEN’S NATURALLY IS REBRANDING!
Because Allen’s is conscientious about our planet, we will NOT be following a traditional rebrand. Instead of discarding unused caps, labels and bottles made specific to Allen’s Naturally, we will start to change the look of our products as we use up existing labeled bottles and caps still on hand.
THE HISTORY OF ALLEN’S
Over 30 years ago in cooperation with a Store Front Cooperative named Stone Soup, Allen worked with members to offer products free of dyes, perfumes and fragrances. Many of the members were involved in the Feingold diet. Dr. Feingold’s theory was children were hyperkinetic as a result of the dyes in food. It was the belief of the co-op members the colors or dyes in national brands of laundry detergent might leave a residue which may migrate through the skin into the body. Other members who had MCS (Multiple Chemical Sensitivities) believed perfumes or fragrances to be a major culprit.
Over the years, Allen’s Naturally has been recognized by animal rights groups such as Peta, Humane Society, Antivivisection Society, Beauty Without Cruelty, and other animal rights groups for not testing on animals and not using animal ingredients. Allen’s Naturally has been certified by the Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics to use the Leaping Bunny logo on our products.
