This is how an old world recipe collided with the modern world…

We (an engineer & a nurse) have always loved cooking for our friends and family, using recipes that have been passed on by our parents and grandparents.

Over the years we have tweaked the recipes a bit by adding some of our secret ingredients to make them our own. One day while entertaining, some friends said, “This is so delicious, you could sell this stuff!”

So we tried it. We cooked and blended, then packed it up into convenient little containers and passed it out to our friends. Before long they shared it with their friends, who started demanding more. As orders started pouring in, we looked at each other and said…

“We’re going to need a bigger blender!” The rest is history.
